Join Portland Parks & Recreation, Friends of Woods Park, and SOLVE Saturday Oct 22nd from 9:00 until noon to work on park improvements. This is a great way to get outside and enjoy nature. Tools, gloves and project instructions provided. Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring your own personal water bottle and snacks. Volunteers may be working off trail on uneven ground and will be hiking to the project site.
We had planned on planting but we have a (no) rain delay. Instead we will focus on site prep for that area along the edge of the meadow and will plan to plant in Jan or Feb.
This event requires pre-registration on the SOLVE Oregon web site.
Please register early.
